Move, Mind, Mend: A neuro and gender diverse hiking therapy group for adults

This group will incorporate movement, nature-based mindfulness and psycho-education for reducing stress. Research has shown that walking is a form of bilateral stimulation that can help people process difficult emotions. Many members of the group have ADHD or other neurodiversity that is aided by movement and being in nature. Group members will have a chance to relax, support each other, and learn about practices for regulating and releasing. This is an open group and members can join at any time of the year. We meet from 1-2:30pm first and third Fridays at a park in East Portland.
